Class Description
This 12-hour course addresses safety regulations and rigging practices related to rigging, rigging hardware, and safe rigging practices. Hands-on inspections and rigging projects are emphasized along with critical hoists.
*This course satisfies the 12-hour Continuing Education classes required by the State of Massachusetts for your Construction Supervisors License.
*Please note this is not a Qualification course for Rigging. If you wish to get your Rigging Qualification you must take the 40 hour “Rigger Qualification (CITF)” Course.
If you have previously taken this class “Rigging Safety” as a Continuing Education course ( please note that) you cannot take the same course twice during one renewal period. You are welcome to take this class if you wish but please know that the state keeps record of CE certifications. If you feel like you have run into this issue, we have another new Continuing Education Course as well: “SIGNIFICANT CHANGES TO THE MA 10TH EDITION OF THE IBC & IRC BUILDING CODE CSL CE”. It is on our website.
