Class Description
This 32-hour course, designed for existing foreman and experienced craftsmen, will equip them with the personal and professional skills required to serve as a successful project foreman.
Course participants will be required to apply objectives between class sessions and then participate in peer reviewed critical assessments of their techniques and results.
Topics covered will include: safety, communication skills, project documents, conflict resolution, liability considerations, planning, scheduling, logistics, etc.
This workshop will assist in developing the skills needed to provide a safe, productive, and high-quality work site, as well as promote the professional development of the entire crew.
Required Equipment
Members must have their own smart device, laptop or computer with a webcam, speakers, microphone, and ability to connect to the internet. It is recommended to have a second device as back up.
Attendance Requirements
Attendance at the first training session is mandatory. 100% attendance is required for all courses that issue Certificates or Qualifications and Apprentice mandatory training. Please be on time! Late arrivals (and early departures) are disruptive to instructors and participants. Poor attendance / disruptive behavior will result in your being dropped from a particular training session.
